A men's health clinic for Seattle, by secure video

Axiom Performance Medicine is a men's health practice serving Seattle and the rest of Washington State, entirely by telehealth. There's no waiting room to sit in and no office to drive to. You meet one clinician by secure video, your labs are drawn at a participating lab near you, and your care plan is written down so you always know what happens next.

Four lines of care

  • Testosterone care. Testosterone and the system around it, evaluated properly before anything is prescribed.
  • Weight management. Medical weight care, with medication when it fits the plan. That means metabolic labs, a look at sleep, medications and habits, and an honest conversation about what's likely to work.
  • Sexual wellness. Erectile function, libido and related concerns, evaluated privately, with medical treatment options. We look at the whole picture: hormones, blood sugar, lipids, medications, sleep and stress.
  • Hair restoration. Male-pattern hair loss, treated with what the evidence supports, with realistic expectations set up front.

You can combine services under one membership, and combined memberships cost less than adding them separately.

One clinician, every visit

Your care is with Timothy Shawn Dannels, ARNP, FNP-BC, a Washington-licensed advanced registered nurse practitioner and board-certified family nurse practitioner. You see the same clinician at each visit. Messages through your secure patient portal get a reply, usually within 1 to 2 days. Phone and telehealth hours are 9 AM–8 PM PT, 7 days. For emergencies, call 911.

How care works

Five steps, typically in this order.

  1. Intake and consent. Answer a few eligibility questions, then review our privacy notices and complete your consent forms and health history in our patient portal (Practice Better), including your current medications and what you've tried before.
  2. Free info call (optional). At the end of your intake, you can choose a short call about how Axiom works, or skip it. This call isn't a medical visit. Medical advice and treatment decisions happen with your clinician.
  3. Labs. Before any labs are ordered, you'll get a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs. If labs are appropriate, your clinician orders them. You pay for your first labs at our cost, with no markup, together with a $99 non-refundable deposit toward your first visit. You get them drawn at a participating lab in Washington.
  4. Video visit (already paid by your $99 deposit). Once your results are in, we'll send you a link to book a video visit with Timothy Shawn Dannels, ARNP, FNP-BC to review your results and options. Nothing more to pay at booking. Treatment is prescribed only if your history and labs support it.
  5. Membership, only if you start treatment. Membership renews each month until you cancel. Medications aren't included in membership. You pay for them separately.

Pricing in plain terms

Membership is priced per treatment, from $49 a month: ED treatment $49, hair restoration $49, weight management $99 and TRT $129 a month, with combinations priced lower than adding them up. Founding TRT is $109 a month (regular $129), and Founding Axiom Complete is $219 a month (regular $249) for TRT plus weight management, ED treatment and hair restoration. Founding spots are limited to 25 total across TRT and Axiom Complete, and the founding rate stays with you as long as your membership is continuous. Membership includes visits, secure messaging, prescription management and scheduled follow-up labs. Medications aren't included. The $99 first-visit deposit is a one-time payment, isn't applied toward membership, and is paid together with your first labs, which are billed at our cost, with no markup. Axiom is cash-pay and doesn't bill insurance.

Why telehealth works for Seattle men

Visits happen from a private place you choose, by video, during hours that fit around work. Labs are drawn locally. Your plan, your results and your messages all live in one secure patient portal. Please join visits from a private place, and never while driving.

Common questions

Is Axiom an in-person clinic in Seattle?

No. Axiom is telehealth-only. Our Seattle address is a business address (no in-person visits).

Who can become a patient?

Men 18 and older who are physically located in Washington State at the time of each visit, with a Washington address for prescriptions and lab work. We are unable to accept Medicare patients.

Do I need labs before my first visit?

If labs are appropriate, your clinician orders them before your video visit, so your visit can focus on your actual results.

Do you accept outside lab results?

Yes, from a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory. To start treatment, results must be from the last 3 months; if you're transferring care while already on treatment, from the last 6 months. Your clinician decides whether they cover what's needed. If we've already accepted your recent outside results, you pay only the $99 deposit.

How do I cancel membership?

In your patient portal, by email or by voicemail. Portal cancellations take effect right away, and you keep access through the end of the month you've paid for.
