What we're treating
Fatigue and poor recovery with low total and free testosterone on a morning draw. Screen negative for other causes.
The approach

What we're watching
Blood pressure and symptoms at check-ins. Total and free testosterone, SHBG, hematocrit, estradiol at scheduled lab follow-ups, plus PSA (a prostate blood test) on the initial and yearly comprehensive panels.
How we'll know it's working
Some patients notice changes within several weeks; results vary and aren't guaranteed. Labs are typically rechecked about 6 to 8 weeks after starting.

How care works.

Five steps, typically in this order. You'll know what happens next along the way.

    Intake and consent

    Answer a few eligibility questions, then review our privacy notices and complete your consent forms and health history in our patient portal (Practice Better), including your current medications and what you've tried before.

    Free info call (optional)

    At the end of your intake, you can choose a short free call with Brandon, our Administrator, to ask how Axiom works, or skip it. This call isn't a medical visit. Medical advice and treatment decisions happen with your clinician.

    Labs

    Before any labs are ordered, you'll get a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs. If labs are appropriate, your clinician orders them. You pay for your first labs at our cost, with no markup, together with a $99 non-refundable deposit toward your first visit. You get them drawn at a participating lab in Washington.

  4. 4

    Video visit (already paid by your $99 deposit)

    Once your results are in, we'll send you a link to book a video visit with Timothy Shawn Dannels, ARNP, FNP-BC to review your results and options. Nothing more to pay at booking. Treatment is prescribed only if your history and labs support it.

  5. 5

    Membership, only if you start treatment

    Membership renews each month until you cancel. Medications aren't included in membership. You pay for them separately.

Who can become a patient?

Axiom serves adults 18 and older who are physically located in Washington State at the time of each visit and have a Washington address for prescriptions and lab work. If you're traveling outside Washington, we'll reschedule your visit for when you're back.

Do you take insurance?

No. Axiom is a cash-pay membership practice and we don't submit claims. You may be able to use HSA/FSA funds for some services. Check with your plan administrator; membership fees may not qualify.

What does it cost to start?

To start, you pay for your first labs (at our cost, no markup) and a $99 non-refundable deposit toward your first video visit, together: $231.71 with Quest or $365.90 with Labcorp. Once your results are in, we'll send you a link to book the visit, with nothing more to pay. The deposit isn't refundable, and your visit is always offered, even if you don't complete your labs. If you don't complete your blood draw, ask us within 60 days of your payment and we'll refund your lab payment. The deposit isn't applied toward membership.
